Our Plan
Gymnastics NSW is committed to providing a
COVIDSafe Environment.
Service NSW QR Code which will automatically record attendances for 28 days and meet compliance standards. As of January 2, 2021, it is now mandatory for all businesses.
In addition to recommending the downloading of the COVIDSafe App for all participants, Gymnastics NSW requires all clubs to maintain an accurate and up to date register of all people who have attended their facility via the Service NSW QR Code.

In the event the Service NSW QR is unavailable, clubs will need to maintain records manually. This can be achieved through class rolls for athletes and a sign in sheet for any additional individuals present. Gymnastics NSW will collect contact details for all attendees at Gymnastics NSW events for this purpose also.

COVIDSafe App
The COVIDSafe app is part of The Australian Government's work to slow the spread of COVID-19. Like many Australians, the gymnastics community is looking forward to be able to enjoy gymnastics once again inside their clubs.

The new COVIDSafe app is completely voluntary, however Gymnastics NSW would like to encourage our members to consider downloading the App. Through having tracing methods such as this, we can help mitigate the risk of transmission within our facilities and the wider community.
